چگونگی رفع سختی آب

انواع سختی آب را می توان به گروه های زیر تقسیم بندی کرد:

میزان املاح موجود در آب را سختی آب می گویند که برای چگونگی رفع سختی آب  می توان از دستگاه های سختی گیر خانگی و نیمه صنعتی و صنعتی استفاده کرد.

سختی کل: تمام املاح کلسیم و منیزیم موجود در آب سختی کل نامیده می شوند و شامل دو قسمت است.

سختی کل کلسیم که نشان دهنده مقدار یون کلسیم در آب است.

سختی کل منیزیم که تمام منیزیم محلول در آب را شامل می شود.

سختی دائم : شامل کلیه املاح کلسیم و منیزیم به جز بی کربنات ها است به عنوان مثال : سولفات ها، کلریدها، نیترات ها کلسیم و منیزیم محلول در آب را در می گیرد این سختی در اثر جوشاندن حذف نمی شود.

سختی موقت: به بی کربنات کلسیم و منیزیم محلول در آب اطلاق می شود که در اثر جوشاندن آب تجزیه شده و رسوب می کند.
